Electrical Project Manager (Major Projects)

Overview

As Electrical Project Manager for Mitie’s Major Projects portfolio, you will lead end-to-end delivery of high-profile electrical installations up to 132kV, including BESS infrastructure. You’ll coordinate design feedback, planning, budgeting, and client reporting to meet scope and milestones. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance with NRSWA/HAUC/DNO/IDNO specs, driving successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project management for multiple projects within the MP portfolio
• Maintain accurate budget reports and manage variations
• Engage clients for design feedback and approvals
• Plan programmes with milestones and deliverables
• Conduct on-site audits of activities and suppliers and raise non-conformances
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications
• Prepare detailed work instructions and brief installation teams
• Submit documentation for client and DNO approval
• Provide portfolio reporting to stakeholders

Key requirements

• Project Management qualification – Essential
• Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within HV/LV installations – Essential
• Strong knowledge of contestable connections up to 132kV – Essential
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to forward plan – Essential
