Program Manager (Project Manager I)

Overview

In this fixed-term role, you will lead a strategic transformation to migrate a critical Logistics solution from Smartsheet to the Microsoft Power Platform. You will own end-to-end delivery across multiple business lines, sites, and partners, with rigorous governance, risk management, and executive reporting. The role combines hands-on delivery with cross-functional collaboration to meet a fixed deadline in a regulated environment. You will shape the programme plan, drive milestones, and ensure successful go-live and transition to support.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated programme plan, scope, and delivery strategy
• Lead six programme phases: Mobilisation, Design, MVP Build, Migration, Go-live
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, offshore development, and external partners
• Manage stakeholder engagement across functions and locations
• Drive governance: risk, issues, dependencies, scope control, change management
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, validation sessions, and UAT
• Lead executive communications, steering committee reporting, and leadership updates
• Monitor budget and resource utilization throughout the lifecycle
• Ensure documentation, approvals, and sign-offs align with timelines
• Coordinate migration, cutover planning, parallel-run activities, and post-go-live support
• Act as the single source of truth for status, decisions, and milestones
• Produce and maintain programme artifacts: plans, RAID, decision logs, backlog, designs, and progress reports
• Prepare UAT plans, migration/cutover plans, and transition-to-support documentation

• Proven experience delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes
• Strong leadership with accountability to drive outcomes and decisions
• Experience managing multi-workstream projects with vendors
• Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership
• Strong governance, reporting, and programmeControls experience
• Ability to coordinate distributed teams across locations/time zones
• Detail-oriented with RAID, decision registers, and status reporting
• Problem-solving capability to challenge assumptions and escalate risks
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business domains and lead delivery
