Overview

In this role you will join a Cardiff-based disputes team to handle a varied caseload across commercial and civil disputes, from contract to shareholder matters. You will advise clients through all dispute stages, draft key pleadings and statements, and represent clients in court or ADR forums. The position emphasises independent matter management, strong advocacy, and a proactive mindset within a growing, ambitious practice. Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial and civil disputes (contract, property, shareholder)
• Advising clients through all stages of dispute resolution, from negotiation to litigation
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and key legal documents
• Representing clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums
• Contributing to business development and client relationship building within a growing team

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE
• confident, commercially aware, and able to manage matters independently
