Responsibilities

• Advise major transport operators, infrastructure owners and public bodies on contentious rail and transport matters.
• Handle major transport and public service contract disputes and related procurement issues.
• Work on infrastructure and fleet project disputes, regulatory and compliance matters, and safety/operational incident cases.
• Collaborate with sector leaders to navigate commercial and regulatory risk in high-profile disputes.
• Contribute to business development for the transport practice and build client relationships.

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE
• Experience in dispute resolution with exposure to rail, transport, infrastructure, procurement or regulatory matters
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex issues
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Proactive and collaborative approach with ownership of matters and ability to contribute to business development
• Interest in developing a specialist practice within the transport sector
