In this role you will manage a high-profile SME Real Estate portfolio across Devon and Cornwall, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and driving growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored banking and ESG-aligned solutions, expanding the client base and strengthening relationships. You help clients develop financial strategies while contributing to the bank’s mission of responsible, sustainable finance. Responsibilities

  • Support high-profile client relationships with a client-centric approach
  • Proactively identify and deliver Commercial Banking solutions (payments, deposits, lending, cards)
  • Build and leverage a network of internal and external partners to open doors
  • Lead new-to-bank client acquisition through strategic outreach and relationship building
  • Establish ties with Group Partner companies to offer comprehensive bank solutions
  • Manage risk by supporting ESG strategy development and progress toward Net Zero

Key requirements

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Track record of winning new business in corporate or commercial banking
  • Strong credit and risk management skills with credible evaluation and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including understanding legal docs and terms
  • Self-starting, proactive, able to work independently and in a high-performing team
