Overview

In this Payroll Administrator role, you will manage UK payroll and pension processes across Klipboard’s entities. You will ensure timely, accurate payroll execution and compliance with statutory regulations, while maintaining pension administration and data integrity. You’ll collaborate with HR and Finance to provide timely payroll insights and improve processes. The position sits in the Reward team and supports continuous improvement in payroll operations within a growing, tech-enabled company.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll inputs including starters, leavers, contractual changes, and variable pay
  • Administer statutory payments and entitlements (SSP, SMP, SPP) and advise employees on eligibility
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and validations for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date records for payroll, pensions, benefits across systems
  • Process salary changes, overtime, and allowances per policy
  • Prepare payroll reports and management information for HR/Finance
  • Reconcile data across payroll, HRIS, pension and related systems
  • Submit payroll information and statutory reports to HMRC and pension providers
  • Administer pension schemes and employee benefits, including enrolment and contributions
  • Investigate and resolve payroll audit exceptions and data anomalies
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax, NI, and policies
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries and audits
  • Support internal/external payroll, pension, and compliance audits
  • Stay updated on payroll and employment legislation and identify process improvements
  • Undertake additional payroll and administrative responsibilities as required
