Responsibilities

• Advise clients and law firms in data-driven engagements within legal or internal investigations
• Lead client relationships and ensure high technical and ethical standards
• Support regulatory investigations by aligning with UK and international authorities
• Act as an expert witness, drafting statements and reports, and providing oral evidence
• Lead complex digital forensic investigations across devices, data systems, and cloud environments
• Direct mobile device forensic analysis, including extraction and data interpretation
• Conduct forensic imaging, recovery and analysis following best practices
• Develop cloud and hybrid methodologies for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure and SaaS platforms
• Integrate automation, analytics, and AI-assisted techniques to improve accuracy and speed
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence
• Collaborate across FTI’s EMEA and global networks to share knowledge and tools
• Travel to client premises in the UK and internationally as required

Key requirements

• Experience conducting digital forensic investigations in consulting, law enforcement, or corporate settings
• Drafting and peer-reviewing digital forensic and expert reports for legal proceedings
• Experience with regulatory investigations and understanding regulatory expectations and disclosure
• Expertise in mobile device forensics, including extractions, artefact interpretation, and encrypted data handling
• Strong knowledge of forensic tools and methodologies (EnCase, X-Ways, Nuix, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, Oxygen, FTK)
• Ability to present technical findings to legal and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leading onsite and remote forensic collections UK and internationally
