Responsibilities

• Manage a varied non-contentious construction caseload
• Advise on major UK infrastructure projects across energy, renewables, social infrastructure, regeneration and commercial development
• Draft and negotiate complex construction contracts (bespoke and standard forms)
• Provide procurement advice and legal project management support
• Collaborate with contentious construction, major projects, energy, real estate, banking and project finance teams
• Act for leading clients including developers, housebuilders, funders, energy companies and national infrastructure bodies
• Support growth of the non-contentious construction practice
• Manage matters across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, mixed use, logistics, industrial)
• Contribute to business development and sector initiatives

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor
• Experience in non-contentious construction (training contract seat or PQE)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Versatility across project types and sectors
• Interest in energy, renewables, infrastructure or UK development work
• Strong project management skills
