Responsibilities
- Advise strategically at project conception on approaches to meet client objectives
- Establish overall project success criteria across time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Set up and maintain project governance, processes and systems
- Produce detailed project plans and oversee procurement of resources
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with stakeholders
- Apply performance management tools and KPIs to improve project performance
- Manage change control processes and project finances
- Coordinate project information flow with client via meetings and reports
- Produce formal project progress and related reports and interface with client and consultants
Key requirements
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
- Chartered status achieved or on path to achieving it
- Understanding of full project life cycle from conception to post-project review
- Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques
- Design, management or construction experience in general construction environments (residential, office, fit-outs, health & education)
