Clinical Lead Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead global, multi-center clinical research projects across therapeutic areas, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and high quality. You will guide cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues while serving as the primary client contact. Your work spans proposal development, bid defenses, and ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures. This position offers remote or hybrid work and a chance to contribute to PSI’s 30-year track record of reliable, quality-driven research.

Responsibilities

• Manage global, multi-center clinical research projects across therapeutic areas
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
• Lead and manage multi-functional project teams
• Train, mentor and coach project team members
• Act as primary client contact for project matters
• Attend bid defenses and contribute to proposals and client presentations
• Implement company standard practices and ensure compliance with internal procedures

Key requirements

• Recent clinical research experience as project manager or equivalent
• Global or regional clinical project management experience from start-up to close-out
• Therapeutic experience in oncology and/or GI, IBD, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn’s disease preferred
• Experience managing Phase II and III clinical projects preferred
• BSc in Life Sciences (or MSc) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder relationship skills
• Ability to negotiate confidently
