Engineering Manager (FMCG / Food Manufacturing)

Overview

In this role you will lead the site engineering function within a market‑leading FMCG/food manufacturer. You will develop the engineering team, raise maintenance standards and drive long‑term improvements in a fast‑paced production environment. You’ll own maintenance planning, reliability, OEE, and statutory compliance, while guiding capital and CI projects. You’ll have autonomy to shape engineering performance and impact site outcomes, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the site engineering team (Lead Engineers and Multi‑Skilled Engineers)
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance to improve reliability and OEE
• Ensure statutory compliance and safe systems of work
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support capital projects
• Monitor engineering KPIs and asset care

Key requirements

• Engineering management experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Proven track record leading multi‑skilled engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, reliability and asset care
