Overview

In this role, you will lead the delivery culture for UCL’s Capital Programme construction works, guiding end-to-end delivery from supplier selection through handover to operations and academic occupancy. You will champion safety, quality, and a seamless campus experience, coordinating with UCL teams to align with standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive improvements in delivery methods, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting, delivering world-class facilities that support students and staff. Responsibilities

• Set and lead delivery culture and standards for Capital Programme construction projects
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from pre-construction to handover to operations
• Ensure a safe, respectful on-site environment and best-practice delivery
• Maintain high-quality interface with public realm to protect campus experience
• Ensure rigorous regulatory compliance and inspection standards
• Define a delivery model and standard for world-class quality
• Oversee handover to operations and academic occupants with engagement from end users
• Oversee project reporting from programmatic and resource perspectives
• Lead HSE reporting, incident investigation, and actioning lessons learned
• Ensure conformance with UCL Standards and coordinate with Health and Safety, Engineering and Operations teams
• Assess skills gaps within Capital Programme and propose targeted training
