Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this Electrical Engineer role, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems at a Stratford site. You’ll work within a team focused on safe, reliable site operations and energy-efficient performance. You’ll diagnose faults, document work in the CMMS, and drive continuous improvements to reduce unplanned disruptions. Responsibilities

• Perform routine PPM on all electrical plant in line with site schedules and asset lists
• Complete reactive tasks across the building and highlight areas for improvement
• Remedy plant faults promptly to maintain serviceability
• Update CMMS (Concept, Smart Hub) and close tickets with accurate information
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks
• Keep Smart-managed plant rooms locked, clean, and tidy
• Complete paperwork for reactive and breakdown works and pass to contract administrator promptly

Key requirements

• City and Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ
• 18th Edition BS7671
• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators and LV systems
• Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data
