Property Disputes (TOLATA) Lawyer – Bristol – NQ-3 Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will support a specialist Home Ownership Disputes Team within a national property disputes practice. You will handle cohabitation and property trust disputes, including TOLATA claims, while developing expertise in equitable claims. You will manage your own caseload under supervision and contribute to business development. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of cohabitation and property trust disputes
• Advise on TOLATA claims, beneficial interest disputes, and equitable accounting
• Draft cohabitation agreements
• Handle own caseload under supervision and support senior lawyers
• Respond to enquiries with empathetic, clear client advice
• Contribute to business development, including articles and thought leadership
• Delegate work to junior lawyers and trainees where appropriate

Key requirements

• NQ-3 years’ PQE (guideline)
• Some experience advising on TOLATA or property trust disputes
• Strong interest in equitable claims and cohabitation matters
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality drafting
• Professional integrity and commitment to exceptional client service
• Ability to work sensitively with clients in emotionally charged situations
• Confidence using case management systems and digital workflows
