Senior Pension Systems Analyst

Overview

As Pension Systems Analyst, you will lead onboarding of new schemes to the Pension Administration framework and provide expert system guidance. You will work in a hybrid, permanent role with potential deputising duties for the Team Leader. You’ll apply advanced knowledge of pension systems and diverse benefit structures to configure automation and support project work. You will generate insightful reports and prepare bulk data uploads to ensure accurate data handling. This role offers meaningful impact in streamlining scheme onboarding and improving administration across the Pension team.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new schemes to the Pension Administration system
• Provide frontline, advanced support for pension systems
• Demonstrate expert understanding of simple, standard, and complex benefit structures
• Configure systems to automate standard and complex benefits
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for pension systems in standard and complex projects
• Produce reports and analyze pension system data
• Prepare standard, bulk data for uploads to pension systems

Key requirements

• GCSE Mathematics and English (grade 5/C)
• In-depth knowledge and experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, Hybrid)
• Awareness of UK pension legislation and PPF requirements
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with pension systems configuration and data handling
