Project Engineering Manager

Overview

As Project Engineer at Jotun UK & Ireland, you will lead engineering projects across a COMAH/ATEX site, modernising plant infrastructure and supporting regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with operations, maintenance and HSEQ to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions. You’ll manage scope, safety, and budgets while driving reliability improvements in a 30-year-old plant. Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to completion with safety, quality and budget control
• Deliver upgrades and modifications to plant equipment and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with COMAH and ATEX in all project work
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and HSEQ to deliver safe solutions
• Provide technical input into risk assessments, safety studies and regulatory submissions
• Drive innovation and reliability improvements in a 30-year-old plant
• Communicate project purpose and technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related)
• Proven experience in project engineering in chemical, petrochemical or heavy industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of COMAH regulations and ATEX requirements
• Excellent project management skills with safe, on-time, on-scope, on-cost delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
