Responsibilities

• Manage a broad residential conveyancing caseload (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases)
• Handle remortgages, transfers of equity, new build and shared ownership transactions
• Draft contracts, transfer documents, and reports on title
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and other professionals
• Ensure compliance with SRA/CLC regulations, Land Registry practice and UK Finance Handbook
• Maintain accurate file management and progress matters efficiently
• Deliver exceptional client care with clear communication and proactive updates
• Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
• Solid experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property law
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Confidence providing clear, practical legal advice
