Responsibilities
- Partner with division leaders to support portfolio performance and risk management
- Set the analytical agenda by identifying opportunities and risks without relying on requests
- Rationalise reporting to drive decision‑making and measurable value
- Design and implement automated SQL and Tableau analytics to reduce manual work
- Deliver root-cause analysis, trends, and predictive insights across portfolio metrics
- Influence credit policy, limits, and strategic decisions with evidence
- Provide analytical support for credit strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Key requirements
- Advanced SQL: design, optimise and document multi-stage queries and data models
- Advanced Tableau: architect dashboards and data sources from scratch
- Advanced Excel: build and validate decision-making models
- Proven ability to automate end-to-end reporting and save time/risk
- Strong commercial judgement to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Credibility with senior stakeholders and effective business partnering
- Self-directed with a strategic focus and ability to lead analytical work
