Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, EMEA Data Center Delivery

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end data center expansion programs in EMEA, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver capacity on time and within budget. You will work with Real Estate, Energy, Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations to drive site feasibility, design inputs, vendor management, and successful handover. The role focuses on delivering scalable infrastructure to support AWS customers while navigating risk and budgetary constraints. You will influence build strategies and continuously improve delivery processes in a fast-growing environment with travel up to 25%. This is a hands-on leadership role in a mission-critical, global cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Decompose large programs into manageable workstreams and align goals across cross-functional teams
• Travel up to 25% within EMEA
• Manage end-to-end delivery from pre-contract design to Operations handover for Colo, Hybrid Colo & AWS Leased/Owned Data Centers in EMEA
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Build and maintain delivery program and budget; submit CAPEX requests to senior leadership
• Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Energy and Real Estate to develop build strategies
• Lead process improvements, document lessons learned, and share knowledge across delivery teams
• Provide regular status updates on key project metrics to senior leadership

Key requirements

• Experience as a Program Manager in capital projects, physical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering or project management in mission-critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil/gas
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or similar technical discipline
• Preferred: experience with multiple stakeholders across locales to drive alignment
• Preferred: direct experience in the design or construction of data centers
