Banking Associate / Senior Associate – Exeter

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied banking and finance caseload across lending, real estate, acquisition, development and project finance.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security packages and related finance documents.
• Advise on funding structures, refinancing and debt restructures.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Real Estate and Private Wealth teams on cross-functional transactions.
• Build and maintain strong client and professional relationships.
• Support the development of junior lawyers and contribute to team growth initiatives.

Key requirements

• 3-6 years’ PQE in Banking & Finance.
• Experience handling banking transactions from instruction to completion.
• Confident drafting and negotiation of finance documents.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Commercially aware, proactive and solution-focused.
• Keen to contribute to business development and team success.
