Public Health Engineer – London (Principal–Technical Director Level)

WSP is looking for an experienced Public Health Engineer with healthcare design experience in our London office. The role involves delivery of high‑profile projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Take a key role in the delivery of prestigious projects as a client‑facing representative and lead public health engineering delivery.
• Provide innovative and sustainable solutions to client needs in healthcare building services design.
• Incorporate sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction and smart systems into design work.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of UK public health, healthcare building services design and relevant standards, codes and regulations.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage junior engineers.
• Technical judgment and resourcefulness in feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, and construction support phases.
• Ability to represent WSP to clients and deliver client‑satisfying engineering solutions.
• Management of technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery.
