Job Description:

Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)

Forward Role is working with a global, fast-growth organisation to find a Digital Marketing Manager to drive B2B lead generation across their digital channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who can own the full digital mix – from website and SEO through to email, social, and reporting – and connect it directly to pipeline.

You’ll be joining a business that’s scaling internationally, with the autonomy to shape how digital marketing supports commercial growth in a B2B environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Website management – owning content accuracy, UX, and ongoing optimisation, working with external partners on improvements
  • SEO – keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical recommendations, and backlink strategy to grow organic visibility and traffic
  • Google Analytics (SME level) – acting as the go-to expert on performance tracking and insight
  • Email marketing – executing and optimising campaigns and segmentation within HubSpot, benchmarking against industry standards
  • Social media – managing organic and paid activity across channels
  • Marketing automation – building and refining workflows to support the funnel
  • Content distribution – supporting the content calendar and getting content in front of the right audiences
  • Digital support for events and thought leadership – amplifying campaigns and brand initiatives digitally
  • Reporting and analytics – building and maintaining dashboards, tracking channel effectiveness and conversion metrics
  • Conversion optimisation – continually testing and refining to improve performance

Indicative split of focus: 40% Website & SEO / 20% Social / 20% Analytics & Reporting / 15% Email / 5% Video & Creative support

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong, hands-on CRM experience, ideally with HubSpot (workflows and campaigns)
  • Solid website management experience, comfortable working with CMS platforms and external web partners
  • Proven SEO, analytics, and conversion optimisation experience
  • A track record in B2B digital marketing, ideally with lead gen accountability
  • Confident using Google Analytics to drive decisions
  • Strong communicator, self-motivated, and comfortable owning multiple channels at once
  • Experience creating or editing short-form video/creative content is a plus

Success will be measured by: website traffic, organic rankings, email engagement, conversion rates, MQLs, pipeline contribution, and overall digital engagement.
