Corporate Lawyer – 3-5 PQE – Swindon – Hybrid

Overview

As a Corporate Lawyer with 3–5 PQE, you will support a growing Business Team in Swindon on corporate transactions across IT, technology and life sciences. You work closely with business owners and entrepreneurs, handling M&A, shareholder agreements, group reorganisations and early-stage investments. The role offers progression, ongoing training and senior mentorship in a collaborative, forward-looking firm. You will contribute to business development and help shape the team’s direction while managing a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on acquisitions and disposals, M&A-related tasks and governance matters
• Handle management buyouts, founder exits and shareholder agreements
• Contribute to joint ventures and private equity investments
• Support group restructurings and governance matters
• Assist with partnership agreements and cross-functional transactional work
• Support senior lawyers on complex transactions
• Manage own caseload and delegated work
• Participate in business development and client relationship building

Key requirements

• 3–5 years’ PQE in corporate law
• Experience in a corporate or commercial law firm
• Strong technical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client-facing communication
• Commercially aware, proactive and solutions-focused
• Strong analytical, negotiation and advisory skills
• Preferably exposure to M&A and private equity
