Domestic Gas Engineer

Overview

In this role you will perform planned, proactive, and reactive maintenance within a facilities management setting, ensuring safety, compliance, and high service standards. You will respond to callouts, supervise contractor work, and ensure equipment and environments meet company standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to keep client sites running smoothly and safely, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable, award‑winning hard services. This is a hands-on, safety‑driven position with clear impact on client satisfaction and site performance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance within set timeframes to meet customer expectations
• Provide callout response as per rota to clients
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship on behalf of the client
• Ensure equipment and surrounding areas meet company standards
• Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing of equipment under contract
• Work in a safe manner and comply with Health & Safety legislation

Key requirements

• Previous experience in Facilities Management
• Full clean driving licence
• ECS/CSCS card
• Gas Safe Registration (valid) and card
• CCN1 (Core Domestic Gas Safety)
• CENWAT (Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters)
• CKR1 (Domestic Gas Cookers)
• HTR1 (Gas Fires & Wall Heaters)

• Gas Safety qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
• Gas Safe Registration
• ECS/CSCS card
• driving license
