Technical Program Manager, Health, Fitness, Sleep and Devices

Overview

As a Technical Program Manager at Google Health Platforms and Devices, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from discovery through delivery. You’ll align cross-functional teams to define workstreams, milestones, and resource needs, while shaping roadmaps and charters for health initiatives. You drive end-to-end program execution across the software lifecycle, balancing technical tradeoffs with project schedules and stakeholder expectations. You communicate program health and strategic pivots to a range of audiences, from engineers to executives, and you help make health tech more personal, proactive, and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive roadmaps, charters, and plans for cross-functional health initiatives
• Define project scopes, resource plans, and measurable goals to hit milestones
• Drive end-to-end programs across the full development lifecycle
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to align workstreams, requirements, schedules, and resourcing
• Tailor communications and status reports for stakeholders from execution to executive leadership

Key requirements

• 1 year of experience in program management
• Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle (build, test, release)
• Experience working in a technical environment on a software engineering team
