Overview

In this role you will underwrite and grow a Credit & Political Risk portfolio within an ambitious, growth‑focused insurer that blends underwriting expertise with proprietary technology. Responsibilities

• Underwrite Credit and Political Risk business per strategy and appetite
• Develop and maintain strong broker and market relationships
• Assess complex risks to make commercially sound underwriting decisions
• Support portfolio growth through proactive business development and market engagement
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and operations to deliver excellent service
• Monitor portfolio performance and market developments for opportunities and trends
• Contribute to ongoing underwriting strategy and portfolio management initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience underwriting Credit & Political Risk in a Lloyd’s or London Market environment
• Strong analytical and technical underwriting skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective broker relationships
