Senior Architect – Data Centres

Overview

In this role you will lead and coordinate design across multidisciplinary teams on large projects, with a focus on data centres. You’ll ensure design governance, quality and timely delivery while leveraging digital workflows. Based in Belfast (with flexibility to work from Dublin, Manchester or London) and travel across the UK, Ireland and Europe, you will shape architectural outputs and client presentations as part of a global infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design across multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams to deliver integrated outputs
• Ensure compliance with internal governance at bid and delivery stages
• Oversee production of design information with high technical standards
• Present to clients and prospective clients
• Apply CDM Safety in Design principles across project stages
• Organise and manage work to meet deadlines
• Maintain design documentation accuracy and multidisciplinary coordination
• Support Directors with Technical Excellence initiatives and CPD/training
• Utilise latest software and digital techniques to improve productivity and staff training opportunities
• Manage interface between Design Team and Site Team on on-site projects

Key requirements

• Fully Qualified Architect or Technologist (Chartered or equivalent)
• Proven experience on large multidisciplinary design projects, preferably Data Centres
• Willingness to work across various design areas under guidance of leadership
• Strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD & REVIT) and 3D modelling in REVIT
• Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDE) like Forma ACC, ProjectWise, Autodesk Docs
• Good English communication skills for presentations and reports
