Overview
In this role you will advise developers, housebuilders, promoters and landowners on residential development and strategic land matters within a market-leading Real Estate team in Bristol. You will manage acquisitions, disposals, option and promotion agreements, and site assembly, guiding transactions from start to finish. You’ll build strong client relationships across the South West property market and support business development to drive growth. This is a collaborative, career-progressing opportunity with exposure to high‑quality, complex projects in a thriving development sector.
Responsibilities
- Advise developers, housebuilders, promoters, and landowners on residential development and strategic land matters
- Manage acquisitions, disposals, option agreements, promotion agreements, overage arrangements, and site assembly projects
- Lead day-to-day transactions while delivering commercially focused legal advice
- Build and strengthen client relationships across the South West property market
- Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities for growth
Key requirements
- 2+ years’ PQE with strong experience in residential development
- Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness
- Experience handling strategic land transactions; understanding of affordable housing arrangements and infrastructure agreements is advantageous
