Hub Operations Manager

Overview

As Hub Operations Manager, you lead and inspire a team of Sortation managers to deliver outstanding service from a purpose-built hub. You ensure health and safety, quality, productivity and cost targets while building strong relationships with other departments. You’ll recruit, develop and retain staff, planning temporary workforces for peak periods. This role combines leadership with data-driven improvements to keep our hub running smoothly and safely during night shifts. It’s a chance to shape operational excellence at scale in a fast-paced logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate Sortation managers to achieve KPIs
• Ensure hub objectives across H&S, quality, security, productivity and cost
• Recruit, develop and retain staff; plan temporary workforce for peak periods
• Collaborate with management across departments to improve overall operation

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution
• Ability to run a fast-paced operation and motivate high-performing teams
• Experience monitoring performance and analysing data to drive improvements
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence strategy
