HSE Coordinator – Aberdeen

Overview

As HSE Coordinator for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Aberdeen, you will support on-site health, safety, and environmental activities. You will perform site inspections, maintain HSE trackers and documentation, and assist with incident reporting and investigations. You’ll help promote a positive safety culture across contractors and work closely with the project team to ensure regulatory compliance and safe delivery. This role offers hands-on safety leadership in a critical energy-infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HSE activities on site
• Conduct site inspections and safety observations
• Maintain HSE trackers and project documentation
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations
• Promote a positive safety culture across contractors

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ HSE experience within construction, energy or infrastructure projects
• Experience with HSE reporting, tracking and compliance activities
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
• Experience on BESS, utilities, HV cable, substation or similar projects (preferred)
