Corporate Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Cardiff

Overview

In this role you will join a growing national corporate team in Cardiff to handle a broad spectrum of corporate matters. You’ll work on high‑quality, high‑value transactions and strategic projects while contributing to the expansion of the Cardiff office and the national practice. The role offers exposure to diverse clients and an opportunity to develop deeper specialisms within a collaborative, client‑focused environment. You will help deliver commercially oriented legal solutions that support clients’ goals.

Responsibilities

• Handle mergers and acquisitions, disposals and investments
• Advise on corporate governance, tax restructuring, and related matters
• Engage in private equity, equity capital markets, and shareholder arrangements work
• Contribute to strategic corporate projects and growth/venture capital initiatives
• Support cross‑functional teams and manage matters with appropriate level of supervision
• Develop client relationships and build personal profile within a growing Cardiff office
• Deliver clear, commercial, practical advice aligned with clients’ commercial goals
• Assist with maintaining high standards of quality and due diligence on transactions

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ PQE in Corporate law
• Strong transactional experience
• Commercial mindset with clear client communication
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for growing a regional office
