Overview

In this role you drive the digital roadmap for search, merchandising and personalization across Frasers Group brands. You will craft a data‑driven search and visual merchandising strategy to improve discovery and user journeys, while leading a team to deliver impactful, cross‑brand experiences. You’ll partner with data, CDP and experimentation teams to optimise personalisation at scale and support key trade initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Support digital optimisation lead on a product discoverability roadmap
  • Define the onsite search optimisation vision across fascias to achieve business goals
  • Oversee data‑driven, customer‑centric merchandising strategies
  • Contribute to and manage digital projects from concept to delivery from an optimisation perspective
  • Collaborate with the CDP team to enhance 1:1 personalisation using customer data
  • Lead cross‑functional efforts to optimise experiences during trade events and other initiatives
  • Manage day‑to‑day relationships with search and merchandising vendors
  • Mentor the optimisation team and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and provide guidance as needed
  • Coordinate with the experimentation team to maintain best‑in‑class AB testing on search and merch platforms
  • Use data insights to identify journey pain points and prioritise changes in the roadmap
  • Oversee weekly trade reporting to communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement by refining processes and tools based on performance metrics

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in a digital optimisation role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Deep understanding of data‑driven strategies and translating insights into actionable plans
  • Expertise in onsite search optimisation and merchandising tools (Algolia or Attraqt)
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in A/B testing and data interpretation
  • Strong project management skills with multiple initiatives from concept to delivery
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with analytical tools (GA and ContentSquare)
  • Experience managing day‑to‑day relationships with third party tools
