Commercial Pricing Manager – Private Healthcare

Overview

In this role you will lead costing, pricing and profitability workstreams to enable growth and financial sustainability across private healthcare services. You will operate at the nexus of commercial analysis and cross-functional collaboration within a leading academic healthcare setting. You will influence pricing, contracting and market positioning in partnership with finance, operations and clinical teams. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of costing, pricing and profitability models across private healthcare services
• Develop pricing strategies that support commercial growth and financial sustainability
• Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions with private medical insurers and other commercial partners
• Undertake market benchmarking, competitor analysis and commercial research to inform pricing decisions
• Provide financial and commercial insight to support strategic decision-making and business planning
• Assess the viability and pricing requirements of new services and commercial opportunities
• Ensure pricing structures are accurately reflected within billing and contract management systems
• Produce clear and actionable analysis to support senior stakeholders and operational teams
• Build effective relationships with consultants, insurers and internal stakeholders across finance, operational, clinical and business development functions
• Contribute to commercial projects that support the continued growth and development of Imperial Private Care

Key requirements

• Degree level education; experience translating complex data into financial models; NHS or similar organisation experience (2+ years)
• Knowledge of commercial finance with appreciation of costing and pricing
• Experience of computerised systems and software including spreadsheets, databases, word processors and email
• Previous costing and pricing experience
• Desirable: experience in private healthcare setting and/or health system insurance contracting
• Desirable: experience in commercial costing or pricing function for 2+ years
• Desirable: experience with Compucare or similar private care ERP/billing software
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry along with regulatory requirements
