Surveyor (Senior) – Real Estate Valuations – London or Manchester

Overview

In this Senior Surveyor role, you’ll join EY-Parthenon’s real estate valuations capability to analyse and advise on property values across sectors. You’ll work within a cross-functional Valuation team, supporting audit reviews, financial reporting and advisory projects for blue-chip clients. The role combines technical valuation work with client interaction and business development within a global network. You’ll leverage valuation models and market data to deliver trusted insights and contribute to building confidence in capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct valuation research and prepare audit valuation reviews across UK and international markets
• Assist on a broad range of valuation and advisory projects including financial reporting, transaction diligence and tax
• Collaborate with EY teams (Audit, business valuation, tax, advisory) across the UK and globally
• Develop valuation models used to advise clients on Real Estate valuations
• Work with industry software such as Argus Enterprise and Developer
• Perform research on real estate transactions using property databases
• Support proposal preparation

Key requirements

• MRICS and ideally RICS Registered valuer qualification
• UK commercial property valuation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication with high-quality report writing
• Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on technical, legislative developments and market trends
• Good working knowledge of Argus and Microsoft Excel
• Committed to business development and able to identify value opportunities
