Quantity Surveyor – Hybrid Working
A well-established specialist contractor based in Lisburn is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
The company is going through an exciting period of expansion, providing an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take the next step in their career, develop professionally, and play an important role in the continued growth of the commercial department.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from start through to completion. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the commercial aspects of projects
- Preparing and managing valuations
- Pricing and managing variations
- Producing regular Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
- Managing final accounts
- Managing and administering subcontract packages
- Supporting the wider commercial team to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ Quantity Surveying experience
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Experience within a general building or specialist subcontracting environment
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
- A proven track record within a Quantity Surveying role
- A proactive, hardworking and ambitious approach
- A desire to develop professionally and progress within the organisation
- The ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team
