Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites
• Work with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA
• Apply design standards including Client and WIMES standards and legislation
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary design team to meet brief, programme, and budget
• Produce technical specifications and procurement schedules; review supplier tender bids and submissions
• Prepare URS for control systems; review supplier FDS and attend factory acceptance tests
• Review existing installed systems to interface with site installations
• Engage with clients, manage relationships, and support their aims

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Working towards Chartership IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
• Methodical problem solving
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
