Associate – Real Estate Investments

Overview

In this role you will support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of real estate opportunities across the UK and Europe, contributing to investment strategy development. You will build detailed financial models to underwrite deals and assist in structuring transactions, while coordinating due diligence and preparing materials for senior stakeholders. You will help manage portfolio performance and value creation with cross-functional teams, lenders, and external advisors. This is a hands-on opportunity in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with meaningful exposure to strategic investments and market development.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute real estate opportunities across UK and Europe
• Develop and implement investment strategies across sectors and markets
• Build and maintain financial models for underwriting, valuation, and analysis
• Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing acquisitions, disposals, JVs, and other investments
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal memoranda for senior stakeholders
• Coordinate due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and technical workstreams
• Support asset management, performance monitoring, and value creation initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams, operating partners, lenders, and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle
• Assist senior team with market research, relationship management, and business development
• Prepare portfolio analysis, reporting, and ad hoc materials for senior management and internal stakeholders

Key requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, advisory, or institutional real estate investing
• Strong understanding of real estate investment structures (equity, JVs, direct/indirect, listed/private exposure)
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities with commercial judgment
• Experience underwriting and executing transactions in UK and/or European real estate markets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or related discipline
• Fluency in English; additional European languages advantageous
