OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and reliable Digital Print Finisher to join our busy production team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating a range of print finishing equipment and be responsible for ensuring all printed materials are finished to a high standard and delivered within agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities* Operating finishing equipment including:o Creasing machineso Folding machineso Booklet makerso Guillotines* Preparing printed materials for finishing and dispatch.* Checking completed work for quality, accuracy, and consistency.* Cutting, creasing, folding, trimming, stitching, and booklet making to customer specifications.* Maintaining finishing equipment and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.* Working from job sheets and production schedules to meet deadlines.* Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working environment.* Assisting with packing and dispatch when required.* Supporting other areas of production during busy periods.
Essential Skills & Experience* Previous experience in a Digital Print Finisher role.* Proficient in operating:o Guillotineso Creasing equipmento Folding machineso Booklet making machinery* Excellent attention to detail and quality control.* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.* Good understanding of print finishing processes and materials.* Strong organisational and time management skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills* Experience within a commercial print or digital print environment.* Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a print production setting.* Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
