Mechanical Supervisor – Boiler Replacement Location: Central BirminghamDuration: 12 WeeksType: Freelance / ContractStart: ASAPRate: £300 per day The Role We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a 12-week commercial project in Central Birmingham. The project involves the replacement of end-of-life commercial boilers, including the removal of existing equipment and installation of new boilers and associated mechanical services. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation works and site operatives.
• Oversee the removal and installation of commercial boiler systems.
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and engineers.
• Manage pipework, pumps, valves and associated heating services.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Review and implement RAMS and maintain site safety standards.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client and other site teams.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Foreman.
• Strong commercial experience with boiler replacement and heating systems.
• Experience working within plant rooms / commercial buildings.
• Good knowledge of mechanical services and associated pipework.
• SSSTS / SMSTS.
• CSCS.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills.

Ideal background: Mechanical Supervisors who have delivered commercial boiler replacement, plant-room upgrades, heating system upgrades or end-of-life mechanical replacement projects.
