Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a global Manufacturing firm in Glasgow on their search for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller across a broad range of finance activities while working closely with operational teams. Duties to include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments and journal preparation
- Production of monthly management reports and KPI analysis
- Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable and payable balances
- Bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities
- Managing supplier payments, including multi-currency transactions
- Coordinating payroll and employee expense processing
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and related accounting records
- Supporting environmental and compliance reporting requirements
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis
- Partnering with departmental managers to support operational decision-making
- Assisting with year-end audit activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

Candidate Profile:
- Part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience considered
- Manufacturing or FMCG sector experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and operational accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
