We’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive/Manager to join us in Ballymena and help support the next stage of our growth.
This could be a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their career who is interested in business, engineering, manufacturing, construction, agriculture or the wider commercial world.
You do not need to come from a structural steel background or already be an experienced business development professional.
We are much more interested in finding someone who is:
• Confident communicating and building relationships
• Commercially curious and interested in how businesses grow
• Organised and comfortable following opportunities through
• Willing to meet customers, attend events and learn about different industries
• Able to work with colleagues across estimating, design, manufacturing, projects and site operations
• Motivated to develop their career and take on increasing responsibility
The role will give you exposure to a wide range of areas including:
• Customer and key account development
• New business opportunities
• Tender and project opportunities
• CRM and opportunity tracking
• Marketing and digital presence
• Frameworks and major contractor relationships
• Market research and competitor intelligence
• Engineering, manufacturing, construction and agricultural markets
• Commercial strategy and business growth
You’ll work closely with the Directors and wider Warwick Engineering team, with the opportunity to meet customers across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
This is not a role where we expect someone to arrive knowing everything.
We want to find someone with the right attitude, ability and ambition, and give them the opportunity to learn the business, develop commercially and grow with the company.
A degree or qualification in areas such as business, engineering, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, marketing or a related subject would be welcomed, but we are equally interested in people who can demonstrate relevant skills and experience through another route.
