Investment Manager – Real Estate

We are partnering exclusively with a leading real estate investment management firm to appoint an Investment Manager to their London team. The role offers strong exposure and flexibility across sectors, with a lead role spanning the origination, evaluation and ongoing management of JV partnerships and fund positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential investments through detailed research, market comparables, and site visits
• Build and stress-test financial models, forming an independent view on manager and operator assumptions
• Prepare clear investment recommendations and materials for internal decision-making
• Monitor existing fund and joint venture positions, tracking performance against business plans
• Represent the business on advisory boards and maintain regular dialogue with managers and partners
• Keep abreast of strategy, governance and sustainability considerations across the portfolio
• Support portfolio construction and contribute to client reporting and communications
• Supervise and guide junior team members

Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, investment, or real estate
• 6-9 years’ experience in real estate investment management, fund management, investment banking, Big Four, or similar environments
• Experience investing through joint venture structures, including sourcing and managing JV partnerships
• Strong analytical skills with a well-developed critical attitude
• Independent, proactive, and commercially sharp
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
