Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a global Position Reporting transformation programme within a commodities trading environment.The role focuses on gathering and documenting requirements for a strategic position reporting platform that will consolidate positions across multiple commodities and ETRM systems, replacing manual spreadsheet-based processes with automated reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Technology teams.
• Define user stories, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Analyse front-to-back trade lifecycles and position reporting processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
• Support UAT and ensure solutions meet business needs.

Required Experience

• Proven Business Analyst experience within Energy or Commodities Trading.
• Strong knowledge of European Power & Gas and/or Oil Trading.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycles and position reporting.
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across business and technology teams.
• Highly organised with strong communication skills.
