Interim Finance Director

We’re working with a leading international investment management business looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Director to support its European finance operations.

This is a broad finance leadership role covering financial reporting, business partnering, regulatory compliance and operational oversight across a number of European entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll provide financial guidance, ensure robust reporting and help drive improvements across the wider finance function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting across European entities
• Manage year-end reporting and external audit processes
• Provide commercial insight and financial support to senior business stakeholders
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes
• Manage relationships with internal teams and outsourced finance providers
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Required Skills

• Experience in financial control, reporting or senior finance leadership
• Background in financial services, investment management, wealth management or another regulated environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially focused with solid technical accounting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
