A high-growth, VC-backed subscription business is scaling internationally and looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join for six months.
Reporting to the Finance Director, working closely with the CFO and CEO, you’ll:
- Run the monthly close and statutory reporting
- Own audit, tax, cash and working capital
- Build the controls that keep finance reliable as the business scales
- Turn the numbers into decisions the Board actually acts on
Day to day:
- Deliver monthly management accounts and the Board narrative
- Build forecasting models for retention, revenue, costs and cash
- Get close to churn and reactivation trends, not just report them
- Own FRS 102 statutory accounts and the audit relationship
- Handle VAT and international tax as new markets come online
- Manage an AP direct report and sharpen AP controls
You should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience in financial control, ideally gained in DTC, subscription or scale-up environments.
