£500 per day (Inside IR35)6-Month ContractLondon (2 Days per Week Onsite)Eligibility for SC ClearanceWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the delivery and operation of a modern AWS-based platform. This role will be instrumental in building and managing cloud environments, deployment pipelines, platform monitoring, and operational support across a complex technology landscape.You’ll work closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to drive automation, improve deployment processes, enhance platform reliability, and ensure secure, scaleable cloud operations.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage, and optimise AWS cloud environmentsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using TerraformDesign, implement, and support CI/CD pipelinesManage containerised applications using Kubernetes and DockerImplement monitoring, logging, and observability solutionsAutomate operational tasks and infrastructure processes through scriptingManage environments across development, testing, and productionSupport cloud security initiatives and best practicesCoordinate and support release management activitiesMaintain Git repositories and version control processesTroubleshoot platform and deployment issuesDrive continuous improvement across DevOps practices and toolingRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with AWS platform servicesExpertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeProven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesStrong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container technologiesExperience implementing monitoring and observability solutionsAutomation and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)Good understanding of cloud security principles and controlsExperience with environment management and release processesStrong Git and version control experienceExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesDesirable ExperienceExperience working within enterprise-scale cloud environmentsKnowledge of DevSecOps methodologiesExperience supporting highly available, business-critical platformsUnderstanding of platform resilience, scaleability, and performance optimisationThis is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile programme, helping to deliver robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions while working with modern technologies and best-practice engineering teams.
