The role will involve supporting fabrication projects, carrying out weld inspections and ensuring work meets approved procedures, drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
We’re looking for:
CSWIP 3.1 / PCN Level 2 Welding InspectorBTEC/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering disciplineStrong fabrication and welding inspection experienceKnowledge of FCAW, GMAW/MIG, SMAW, GTAW/TIG and SAWAbility to read engineering drawings and welding symbolsKnowledge of welding defects and relevant standardsShipbuilding/classification experience advantageousGood IT skills, including Word and ExcelStrong focus on safety and qualityOther relevant PCN/inspection qualifications may be considered.
Candidates will be responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation and transportation.
