Overview

In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of Public Sector customers, acting as the commercial lead and aligning Experian’s data, analytics, fraud, identity and software capabilities with government priorities. You will build senior stakeholder relationships, drive retention and revenue growth, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. This position provides the opportunity to shape public sector outcomes by addressing complex challenges with innovative, compliant offerings. You will work in a cross‑functional environment to expand Experian’s footprint across government organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of Public Sector customers as primary commercial contact
  • Build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders
  • Develop and execute account plans focusing on retention and long-term value
  • Drive organic growth through upselling and cross-selling data, analytics, identity, fraud, decisioning and platform solutions
  • Maintain a strong opportunities pipeline across accounts
  • Coordinate across multiple Experian units to deliver integrated solutions
  • Lead virtual teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Support public sector procurement processes and routes to market
  • Manage contract renewals, extensions and variations with internal teams
  • Monitor performance via CRM forecasting and pipeline reporting, and identify risks and opportunities

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience managing Public Sector customer accounts with demonstrable sales and account management
  • Strong understanding of Public Sector buying processes and procurement environments
  • Track record of retaining, growing and developing complex customer relationships
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders within public sector organisations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and account planning skills
  • Experience working for a system integrator selling software, SaaS, data, analytics or managed services into public sector (desirable)
  • Knowledge of procurement frameworks such as G-Cloud, DOS, Crown Commercial Services frameworks or other compliant routes to market (desirable)
  • Experience selling fraud prevention, identity verification, data, analytics or digital transformation solutions (desirable)
