Year 2 Teaching Assistant: Path to Teaching in Islington

JobsinED is helping to place a Year 2 Teaching Assistant in an outstanding Islington primary school for September 2026. You will support a Year 2 teacher, run small group literacy, numeracy and phonics interventions, and provide targeted pupil support to foster high-quality lessons.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong academics (2:1+), energy, creativity, and a proactive mindset, eager to gain classroom experience before PGCE/ITT, and ready to commit for the academic year.
