– Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents.
– Leading and supporting care staff during the shift.
– Ensuring residents’ care needs are met, and care plans are followed.
– Updating and maintaining residents’ care plans and electronic care records accurately and regularly.
– Communicating effectively with GPs, nurses, district nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
– Responding appropriately to changes in residents’ health and wellbeing and escalating concerns when necessary.
– Completing accurate care records and daily documentation.
– Supporting medication procedures in accordance with company policies and training.
– Communicating professionally with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
– Using your own initiative to deal with situations that arise during the shift.
– Promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect at all times.
– Supporting the smooth running of the care home and maintaining high standards of care.
